Hey Peter, no I should have a good stash with me from Todd's. I may even skip the highlands drive and head back to Todd's at about 1:45. Not sure yet.
For those interested in the event poster, it will be on dispaly at the Ibrahim estate. Size is 18x24. Poster price is $25.00 unframed and $85.00 framed. Just contact either me, Adrian at [email protected] or David Scott at [email protected]. Drive safely!
I'm pleased to say that the event was as close to perfect as one could want. Excellent weather, nice attendance and around 40 cars, including the new 458. The event was catered by a local restaurant specializing in barbeque and they did an outstanding job. I don't think anyone left hungry. The group left for the Highlands around an hour ago. Expect to see many pictures and more commentary soon. Many thanks to Julie and Dave for organizing an outstanding event. Bob Z.
Hey, our lunch trip to Highlands and your dinner trip merged for a few miles this afternoon on SC-28! We were down to five cars by then: a Porsche, two Ferraris and two Lotuses. After leaving Ruka's Table in Highlands at around 2 PM, we headed west to Bridal Veil Falls and then continued north to go around Lake Glenville and then head south on NC-107 thru Cashiers. When we turned north on SC-28 for a few miles, before turning off on Chattooga Ridge Road to head back west towards Clayton, GA, we found ourselves with a few other cars in line, including a 360 and a Viper! Several other cars were well back in my rear-view mirror, but at least one looked like another Ferrari. Don't know if any of you saw the "interlopers" in your parade, but I hope that you enjoyed your day of driving as much as we enjoyed ours. Looking forward to seeing your photos.

LOL. Not far off... j/k I was only able to make it to the event at Coach's house, but it was great as always. Very gracious of Julie to open her beautiful estate to us all in such a hospitable way. Good times, for sure. The 458 was amazing -- belle of the ball.
WOW! What a great weekend! Amy and I would like to thank Julie, David and everyone else for a fantastic weekend... We really appreciate being involved in such a great event. It was really great to see everyone and we're already planning for next year! Hank
Thanks a million to Julie an Dave for an outstanding event and for making all of us feel at home(may be not completely as we don't have that much parking in our back yard) Jokes aside, Sean, Abby and I had a blast even though theirs came from their stomach a couple of times on the side of a winding mountain road. I can't believe Charles Perry made my son throw up. Lol. I am honored to be part of such a wonderful group of individuals. Karl Troy
i was unable to make the event due to afternoon obligations but did manage to drive the boxer down to the belmont abbey morning meet-up. it was nice to see a few folks i had not seen. it was also a nice excuse to drive the car...i had it full broadside around the corner of 485 entering hwy 77 (that was at about 95 mph...so it was memorable!!) i want to thank jr for bringing me a very, very appreciated little gift that had mad it here via via cuba and then via the far east. thank you so much jr...an incredible gesture and i must say it was a fine smoke!!!!!! I owe you!! best, pcb Image Unavailable, Please Login
Let me just say that this was one perfect weekend thanks to the great people, weather, Charles Wood and Nitrograss, awesome food from Pompous Pig, Cyprus, and On the Veranda, and twisty roads as we climbed to Highlands-elevation 4118! Also, thanks to FCI for being our sponsor! Ronnie, Hank, Nick, Bennie and the folks there are superb. And of course Julie Ibrahim for continuing this event in her late husband's honor. Here is a picture thread of what the event looked like beginning with our Friday Night in Greenville. The cars were cool, neat to see the 458 thanks to FCI. Also the first Tesla I've seen thanks to Trevor, and Peter of the Greenville Exotic Car Club. A big thanks is due to those who took these pictures- Heather and Chrystelle, among others.
