1970 Ghibli. Dash top is off, pulling out the non-working clock. Any common areas inside the movement to zero in on? Secondly, can anyone advise if there are quart replacements available?
    Thanks in advance,
    Frank in Florida

Thanks for sharing the website. If I can't repair the clock myself, I will send it to them.
I am still looking for tips on removal and repairing the clock myself to save down time.

    Thanks,

There have been rather mixed reviews of Palo Alto speedo on here if you look…… no personal experience. There is a thread here for 308 Veglia clocks
Which is very relevant. Try the search function and I’ll see if I can find it if you have no luck. I’m away from home currently Frank but I bought a quartz for that purpose but never installed because watch oil on the moving shafts did the job.
    Best regards.
    Mark.

I'm also going to tackle a clock repair this winter on my '72 Indy. Like Frank, I'd like to see if I can get it working on my own before I send it out somewhere. I've done a few clocks on other cars... so it's worth a shot.
Thanks to Mark for the tip on the "308 Veglia clock" threads. I searched and found this one with good descriptions and photos.

Worth bookmarking it since some things may be similar on your clock.
    Good luck!

Clock is out. Been very lucky today. The washer, a holding bracket and nut all fell into the abyss behind the dash as I took them off the back of the clock. I removed the passenger-side console panel in hope of finding at least ONE of the pieces. All THREE were attached to the magnet on the radio speaker! I will start the clock repair process today. Thanks for all your posts.

You can't get any luckier than that, take it as a good omen.

I took a chance and bought another Veglia clock and transferred the mechanism into the old case and swapped out the Maserati face and hands

The Ghibli clock has a larger diameter than the one on the Bora, Khamsin and Indy, although they look the same. Make sure to compare the size if buying a replacement

My clock is more modern than the ones I have repaired in the past. Time to send this one out to an expert. Thanks for all your helpful responses!
