Finally I found these. I never cared for the modified 430 tip with the challenge exhaust so its been a hunt to find the correct exhaust tips.

    Very cool sir !
I bought a complete 430 Challenge brake kit few years back set me back 14000.00 bucks.
Kit was shipped in wooded crate from Ferrari inside calipers rotors brake booster brake lines clips and more.
Question standard 360 brake booster same as carbon ceramic brake booster ?
Might be a good ideal check to make sure you can use yours.
My experience EVERY SINGLE time I ever change out some FOR better it all ways leads to some thing else to change !

I will check that. Its a fun project to make it different but still have a modern feel. This hasn't been my first car to modify but the learning curve is mutch different. Your car has given me alot of hope

Really nice to hear you say that.
Same here my first car 69 Camaro had no front end working two jobs I was 16 years old I paid 432.00 Dollars with my tax return check.
Every week I would pay for a used front end and a motor put it together by my self look like crap rust falling from the quarters panels.
I drove for a couple of years with pride that I built that rust bucket of a car .

well, I made these tips. I don't have a pic showing the opening but they look identical. I'll shot a pic later.

upper: what I made from 430, sans valve.
    lower: from a genuine CS

Looks good . And even though I was about to go that route with the 430 tips and moddfiy the length. I really wanted the factor part. I even have a tig welder that I could have used. I don't like to use a mig welder on SS since you can't back purge that way. But either way works.

I use the same transaxle oil as well. I do put a "glop" of lucas oil stabilizer in as well, never experience any chatter. Cheers and good job on the resurrection!

If you need another project....I have a 55 Cadillac Meteor combination car I have been looking for a new home. The make a wish foundation wants it but need a shop or someone like yourself to finish it. Frame off done, all bodywork done, needs paint, interior, and dash installed along with lots of little things. Older pic but have an appraisal with all new pics and info. Identical as too with the bumper on but those welds I couldn't live with my self. I never mig weld SS only tig weld and it should be backprurged.

It isn't about mounting them. The 398mm calipers are a different caliper to suit the extended pads (they have additional bracing along the leading edge). The 398mm pads are also much larger to suit the increased swept area.

I seem to remember that 398mm pads fit in 380mm calipers but the strength risk remains.
