I have a pair of chairs, with 1 ottoman, which were exported by Westnofa of Norway in the early 80s, but I'd love to know who is/was the designer?

They are similar, but more refined, than a chair identified as "Ouno" which I found on the web, but still with no designer credit.

Anybody got any info? They are incredibly comfortable chairs; I've always referred to them as my "Star Trek" chairs!

Ed:Don't know why photos loaded rotated? Or how to fix!

That's it! Mine are beech with black leather. Thanks so much Cosmic_Kid, I'm really glad to finally know who the designer is! Obviously your search skills are way better than mine...

But I know absolutely nothing about designer furniture, except a few items by Arne Jacobsen that is easily recognizable. :D

But it remind me about this story that happened not too far from where I live :)
Uheldig hus-sælger på Falster: Værdiløse sofaer var 710.000 kr. værd - Danmark | www.bt.dk

A guy was selling a house. He told the buyer he could take the two sofas in the house and throw them out if he wanted as he did not want them. They were old.

The new owner put the two sofas on sale at Lauritz.com and then things went crazy. people in the know about designer furniture quickly recognized both sofas as being designed by Finn Juhl for the "King's Room" at the Stateradio back in 1936.
So in the end the buyer sold both sofas for a combined price of 710.000.- DKK. :D

No word about what the seller was thinking. But even I would have looked into atleast the big red one. It LOOK like something special, and not just old junk.
