All the number you show here I believe look healthy .. gear engagement numbers ( can't see 5th or 6th) look good ..pump on is around five percent ..
I think the decimals and signs are off for the two clutch wear figures ..one is the wear ..42 percent and the other is the clutch index which seems low but that is a good thing ..should be a little over 3000 but over 4000 is bad

I am guessing on the numbers decimals and sign and taking a leap on the last two ..just thinking it is donating the right numbers wrongly

With great interest I have been following this topic, so much it convinced me to buy the AP200. Today I have received it and immediately connect the Bluetooth scanner to my 06 F430. After the initial connection I had some struggles with connecting the scanner to my iPhone, but all that is under control now.

I get all the data as mentioned in this topic, but there is one thing I don't understand yet. On the Live data the 'Clutch wear index (percent)’ it shows -1.880 % with a range between: -2 and 0. I assume a percentage should normally be between 0 and 100.

Funny enough when using the formula (with the 5.6) it returns the correct same percentage as I have received from my dealer. No big problem, but can anyone help me with this issue because I can’t update the range to 0 - 100

I have the AP200 and my clutch wear is listed as 0%. I have to use the 5.6 formula manually. My car is a 2009 so I’m guessing the AP200 is getting an error reading it so it just defaults to 0.

Does anyone know which (if any?) of these tools can do a Steering angle reset on a 430? I tried a foxwell 624 or something (new one in 2021) but it didn’t have any reset functions from what I could tell. (I did update it).
    Thanks!

Yikes. Those aren’t cheap. I did find a different Foxwell (630Plus) that also specifically lists SAS functionality versus the one I originally ordered. For $100 I’ll try it and report back, if not an x431 might be in my future. Thanks!

The mini pro can sometimes be had for around 600 ..not cheap but still reasonable

If you post where you live ..city and state ..maybe someone who has one will reset it for you

I have the X-431 Torque from Launch Tech USA in Ontario, CA. Price was $1,400.

I have used it to flush and bleed the F1 systems (there are two bleed valves) and flush and bleed the brakes.

It reads clutch wear and clutch PIS.

They have a newer model model called the X-431 Throttle but I do not believe it does more for a 430 that the Torque.

Just closing loop on the steering angle reset... the Foxwell 630plus did in fact work. So for $120 not bad since I didn't need other stuff right now.

Does it do any other ferrari specific functions like checking clutch usage or F1 bleed/relearn?

Only other advertised bits were ABS bleeding but I didn’t verify. No Clutch or F1 as far as I could tell.

Just curious, why did you need to set the steering angle? Did you tighten up your steering knuckle under the dash?

Yep! That fixed up a 1/8” of steering play I had but triggered the CST error

What was the ultimate verdict on this? Seems like the AP200 can do MOST of what the x431 does but at a better price point? Thanks for the guidance…

For a reader yes ..but if you want to do functions like bleed , self learning , activation ..probably the best buy is the launch thinkdiag

For 50 bucks ap200 is tremendous value.. it gives you the clutch wear directly in percentage now with latest firmware... read it in 3 min.

How does this ... "normal" Launch X431 compare to the $800-900 Launch X431 Pro / Pro Mini?

Latter is significantly more expensive. Can that cheaper version also do all the relearn / bleed / activation / etc. stuff? Anyone have any experience?
