Not saying Monaco doesn’t have an Italian influence but Charles Leclerc is 1000% more French than Italian. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Finished watching the race last night and was completely gutted. They weren't showing the scrap live, and I saw Charles move up to second in the ordering before quickly falling to fourth. Was so completely elated and then so completely destroyed. Great drives by a Charles and Seb. Ferrari really needs to get those out stops more precise and repeatable. I would even say that Charles Leclerc is a caricature of the well-educated young French man. And for living very close to Monaco i would add the principauté is a lot more French than Italian. Their Ligurian dialect is like esperanto. Nobody use it.
I mean even his English French accent or his I am stupid or la putain de sa race that he said earlier this year All hi cursive are very French Still he is a monégasque and we have to be happy with Gasly. At least he won a race this year Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Agree , i like very much Pierre but i have to say he is not Charles. Charles like Max is something else.
You are so right there ! Generally speaking, the French tend to be the laughing stock in the world. So the Monegasques, like the French-speaking Swiss or Belgians avoid to be confused with them. They may share the same language, but not the culture or mentality. When you see the two who constantly argue about trivia on this forum, you can understand why.
Being French isn't a racial demographic. It was an uncouth personal attack and moderated for that reason alone. All the best, Andrew.
/ Are you joking? Racism, where? I'm with William here, not because I liked or not his comment, but because we need to stop this butt-hurt snowflake culture!
Yep I’m French but I hardly ever get offended. Seems like William and others have had beef for a long time. I used to not visit the f1 forum but now it’s interesting, pretty funny to be honest. I love the passion and it’s funny to see ppl argue about Hamilton etc and so forth. As I said all those guys really they race for themselves. It’s a selfish sport. It’s not rugby or soccer where you can go to a pub and have bragging rights about who the greater nation is. As far as countries they all have their pros and cons. Same with the cultures. France is undeniably rich in history, great food same can be said for every European countries or so. I have fond memories of my 10 years in England minus the atrocious weather.
