Looking at a Portofino delivered to Canada that I might like to purchase & bring to the US. Can the right side display be changed to read in MPH instead of KPH with just a settings adjustment, or does the car require a new cluster or "Programming"
    Pic attached.

    Thank you.

If you don't have an Owner's Manual, you definitely want one. Go to section 3, page 82,Units of Measurement.

I don't have one as I mentioned in the post, the car is in Canada, I am looking into a potential purchase, and simply need to know if the screen as displayed can be changed so speed and distance traveled can be in Miles, not Kilometers. Thank you.

Portofino manual (hopefully) attached. in my wife's Portofino M the Settings / Measurement units only change the odometer, not the speedometer. We test drove two different Portofino M's and both had speedometer in KPM and we were told there was no way to change it. I was pretty impressed when the test driver hit 130, then realized it was in KPM. Oddly, the passenger display showed MPH. Just changed Settings/ Measurement units to km and the odometer / tripometer changed, but the speedometer remained mph.

It looks like you should have the dealer make the change described in the manual and see what results.

I just checked things out on my 2019 USA Portofino. The speedo reading (bottom of left screen) does switch between mph and kph. But if you want the big-digit speedo readout on the right screen, that continues to read in mph. However,I forgot to see if that right-screen display can be changed to kph separately (page 82,configure right-hand display). I just wrapped my car up against the incoming storm,so I can't answer that for a while.

Interesting. I'm not the original poster, but the question is intriguing since I did two test drives in PFM launch cars that were in KPM and was told they could not be changed. I switched my wife's PFM and the right TFT stayed MPH, while the odometer and tripometer were in KM. I didn't check the smaller speedometer on the left screen. I always do the digital speedometer on the right screen, so will switch it and give it a look tomorrow.

We may be dealing with Italian thinking.

Went out to change the clocks on the Ferraris and put gas in them. In my wife's Portofino M the small digital speedometer on the bottom of the left screen can change from kmh or mph with the Settings / Measurement Units screen. The passenger display also changes with this setting. The right TFT screen I can only change between digital speedometer and regular speedometer.

Unfortunately Ferrari have made it so you have to go to the dealer to change this. They have locked out being able to get in to the main settings so that no one can change the odometer

Michael, I'm wondering if you ever got confirmation on being able to, or perhaps having a dealer change units on the Speedo for the car you were looking at. Also, I'm looking at buying a F458 in Canada, and brining it to the US. I'm concerned about emissions.

Do you, Michael or does anyone here, know about the emissions in Canada? Are the vehicles tagged with a compliance sticker for US?

I am in the process of purchasing a 2022 Porto M from Canada. Currently in the US awaiting DOT inspection. I was told by my local dealer and the dealer I purchased from that the right display cannot be programmed for mph and that the cluster would need to be swapped out for $15k, thanks to Ferrari. That price was quoted by both local dealer and dealer I purchased from. As mentioned above the passenger display does read out in mph.
