Just got notified that "effective immediately" Arun is no longer with Ferrari Newport. They seem to be going through manangers frequently. Anyone have insight?
Not sure if that is good or bad or indifferent. The GM before Arun was actually really good to me as was the sales rep that sold me the car. I would say they were 40 percent of my decision to by the car as I really want looking to buy my car. They said that by buying this car I would get to go to some really good events they hosted and we did. Then they were fired 6 months later. I was then taken off the event invite lists. Arun was nice enough to me, but I could tell he couldn't care less about me. I don't blame him as he probably had to focus on the people buying a new F Car a year and always putting deposits on wait lists for special cars. I hear that the GM before the one I dealt with was even better and loved by the employees and customers. Ferrari Factory culture is strange to me. You see it's weirdness at this dealership, in their F1 team, etc.
Ferrari of Newport Beach used to be a classy dealership. Then, it was sold and took a nosedive on the sales department side. [The service department has always been, and remains, top notch.] Arun was/is a classless ****. Hopefully a new GM can clean away the muck and stench that @sshat left on the dealership.
If I recall correctly Arun was at the San Diego location prior to Newport Beach. When I visited them, he couldn’t have given two ****s about me. One of the other managers in San Diego was very friendly and helpful, however. With regards to the service departments, I hear that Newport Beach is very good. This is a similar situation with Beverly Hills - great service department but ****ty sales group! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I will soon have first hand experience on the new team.. but to date very very strange.. Years ago chatted with Arun out of San Diego and asked about a new 812GTS.. was told no chance (between the lines) Fast forward a year or more to a random walk-in meeting with Chris Berlin, nice enough to say sure, take deposit & wait and see. Fast forward 6 months sales person assigned gone after a few months with no call / note / update Fast forward a year, I made a random walk in & new salesmen checked the system (but never a call / email / text) Scheduled a build ! yahoo Fast forward , Berlin out Fast forward a year, 2nd salesmen gone, build not saved , & start over, but was told buy Arun (now local) I will get a car. ( surprise, surprise ). Fast forward , and new salesmen (who I felt was excited for me) keep me posted on build, status, and info on ETA Fast forward , 3rd salesmen calls Saturday (I'm at pebble, assuming car was enroute ) and said he was terminated, no reason. I assume most car carriers with take a few weeks after Pebble to pick up East Coast loads, and look forward to meeting Stefano, new team, IF they remember to call me
I've never been able to understand people putting up with stuff like this ^^. I don't think there's anyone or anything in this world I would allow myself to be disrespected/mistreated by or for in this manner, let alone if I was to buy/pay something for my personal pleasure from them. I've severed business ties for less.
Well my car war delivered last Friday , and it was beyond perfect . Hosted a group of 15 friends with proper “ unveiling “ . Stefano was top shelf and Manager Brendon was a pleasure to work with ! Sadly , the car is so good I don’t think I will ever need another [emoji3]…( never say never ) Sent from my iPad using FerrariChat
Unfortunately I’ll be missing this, as there is a huge Movember Lambo run the same day… But here’s my Speciale ! Image Unavailable, Please Login Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Customer of Newport here. Stefano has the blandest personality I’ve ever endured. Top it off with a lack of knowledge and there it goes, another bad GM at Newport.
I bought a Portofino M at Newport in the last year. Very good experience with Slah (salesperson) and Brandon (sales manager). New salesperson Nick is young but with great personality and is also knowledgable. Gary (finance) is smart and a great guy. Stefano has always been friendly and pleasant to me. They have very nice events. I recommend the dealership.
