    Wow... SLIPPERY SLOPE ALERT....

I started this way and I have got to tell you its not been easy. I have ended up spending much MORE than it would have cost me to sell my Modena and buy a 360cs! Ferrari changed a tonne of parts that are highly significant to get the Strad feeling, its most definately not just a body kit! Firstly decide how far you want to take this BEFORE you start doing anything otherwise you'll be spending money like its gone out of style and wont ever be happy with the result until you've spent at big $$$....

In a nutshell I recommend just buying a 360CS from the outset unless your like me and are obsessed with manual shifting. If thats the case good luck, you have a long and tedious journey ahead of you. Expect to spend at least $80K on parts and at least a year getting it all built (thats many months off the road in a workshop!).

Here's a recent pic of my 360 Modena converted to full CS spec (still with Manual gearbox I hasten to add!). To do a full cs conversion requires a lot of work and expensive parts. Full bodywork including rear diffusers, challenge inserts, front and rear cs bumpers, cs side skirts, nulder engine-lid, plexiglass engine glass, cs challenge grills (front and rear), rear diffusers, tri-color stripe, fuel filler flap, 19" cs wheels, titanium wheel bolts, titanium suspension springs, suspension computer, suspension flamblocks, suspension rear anti-roll bar, 425hp engine including cs specific ecu's, cf airboxes, cf air box resonator, cs maf''s, cf engine side garnishes, cf mirrors, cf engine detailing, cf specific colored aluminum airboxes (grey), cs exhaust, ccm brakes, cf engine bay, cf door cards, cs full interior, cs rollbar, cs multi-point harnesses, cf aircon controls, center console, clocks, cf clock inserts, cf seats, cs steering wheel, rubber mats, cs specific kick plates, etc. etc. etc, etc..

Basically, unless you've got access to a CS write off forget it!

I love the CS's front bumper, so I just did the bumper and the skirts. OOhh!! the gas cap and stripe also. The fitting was not easy.

I think what he wants is just the body kit and not the entire interior. I got it on my car as well and as far as I know Specialized Italian in Rancho Cordova is the only place that sells the parts. They do require hours of fitting but at the end of the day it will fit. I started a thread asking if the Stradale air box will fit a 360M and the answer is still no. It's a different attachment system and different MAF meter as well.

The CS airboxes do fit the Modena, you just need the plug in replacement MAF's thats all.

James, they are Novitec center locking wheels, very similar in style to 430 ones but not the actual 430 items, these look nicer :)

Thanks a lot for feedbacks guys. I realy want only body parts, no engine, interior since i would cost lot of money and in this case seems to me realy better to buy CS. I want to change as first step front spoiler, side skirts, rear difuser and wheels, maybe as second step later mirrors, rear grill and stripe. I am not sure about the stripe and rear grill - i did not see it in real, not sure if i like it or not....I want to do it now during winter, to be ready for spring 2008:). However some things come on my mind.

1.What kind of material is used for the OEM products (like spoiler) available. I found several makers. Is there any difference? Is it fiberglass, plastic or anything else? Regaring the rear difusers i found alu and carbon fiber. I have realy bad experience from past with my former cars with puting some OEM spoliers - always bad quality and problem with fiting. I just do not want to take out original Ferrari spoilers and put some ****ty products. I thought i will not put anything on Ferrari but i just love the CS look. What is your experience and what products from what makers are on your converted cars?

    2. To change front spoiler i also have to change the grills inside?I did not find them....

    3. My original rear 360 bumper is painted all in red (not with black bottom), if i put black rear diffuser on red, it will look strange ?! Does anyone have it like this?

4.Just first check and estimation of the cost according what i found from different makers (not consider painting and wheels). Front spoiler 2K, Side skirts 1K, Rear diffuser 0,75K, Rear grill 1,2K, mirrors 0,75K. It makes without paint and wheels aprox. 5,7K usd. Did i forget anything? Maybe the grills in front spoiler i can not find.....

    Cool thread.

Not sure I would want to convert a 360 to a CS, but it is interesting to see all the after market parts being offered.

Personally I'm more after the Novitec look.

are you talking about the part that MAF meter is attached to? The guys that got that CF airbox on ebay try putting it in my car, it fits perfectly but the 360M is a clip on and the CS is a screw on so they took it off and put my old one back.

    Petr,

The list goes on and on, but to complete the CS exterior look, you also need the rear deck lid which has a slight lip at the end, I have not seen any aftermarket yet...///
Also, the seats, exhaust (CS is way better than stock 360)

I've made a promise to myself that the first time I roach the front spoiler on a driveway, I will switch it out with a CS version. It simply better lines than the stock bumper. I don't think it would look strange on a spider.

Trev. Where did you get the door cards (panels) for the CS?
    Any updates on your car?

I did not realize that the rear deck lid is also different, no i see... But its not so big difference, i can leave with the standard one. I think that most important in terms of look is front bumper and side skirts, rear diffuser and grill. I wonder how would look to keep gas cap not painted just in alu...

I love the CS seats but just seems to me too expansive as i found Sparco Milano for more than 2K per pcs. BTW i already have tubi so exhaust is definitely not planed to be changed :)

The cavalino on the gas cap is sold separately. Trust me, need to paint the gas cap, it looks bad in alum.

I hope this post is ok..

I just picked up my 360, but I also own a body pannel manufacturing company.. We produce a lot of parts for another car. I have been looking at the challange bumper and the sides of the F430, and been somewhat dreaming about making something.. Not sure if people would be interested in that or if I am even allowed to see if there is enough interest with out sponsoring the forum.

I took a standard 3000GT, and revamped the pannels into the picture attached :)
