Very cool, the beginning of the longest running single marque series, and many would say the pinnacle of auto ownership. It is stunning to see the evolution of these cars. Imagine being a collector and owning the best of each, and driving them back to back to back. They are now "spec racecars" rather than converted as the first few years. What must a 488 driver think of a 348c today.
Great stuff- thanks for sharing! I can't get over how much better these cars looked after the switch to the 18" Speedline magnesium wheels.

I have recently bought 355 Challenge car 104596. The car is LHD and currently road registered in the UK. It was supplied new by Rossocorse in Milan and raced by Emanuele Moncini. I am looking for photos of the car from '96 and race results (I know it raced at Nurburgring and Mugello world finals race No.7.) We are preparing the car to race in the UK FOC Pirelli Ferrari formula classic series. View attachment 210923
Congratulations! Go through Robb's sticky thread Ferrari Challenge Series- Historical Records and Information for what you'd like to know.
How cool, that's my car, number 27, ex Jim Kenton Lake Forest originally and then Ferrari of Washington. Documented as the first FNA Ferrari 348 Challenge car, converted of course. I have owned that car since 2005, and driven it over 50k miles, straight challenge race pipes, and same set up it had at Sebring. Lights were added, and a radio, but that's about all. My ears...what fun. Longest drive was from near Columbia, SC to Toronto in about 11 or so hours. Columbia to Indy was a long drive as well, then there was to Daytona and Sebring, and Watkins Glen, and countless drives of over 300 miles to the blue ridges and back. I need to drive it again, soon.... Image Unavailable, Please Login
I took Part in the race, but I was unlucky. A tire burst at 239 km/h in the first qualification! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
My guardian angel was wide awake. I didn't hit the wall. The car was ready for the race on time. Image Unavailable, Please Login

It was great seeing your 348 Challenge again, Jason. I wasn't too far away in the paddock... Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
