Do you have to option the racing seat lifter? I’m being told it is required.

In the UK it is not required. I specifically didn’t want it because I’m tall and not having it adds a little bit of headroom. I’d challenge the dealer on it being required. They probably just want to sell you another option. keep in mind of course if you plan to sell the car, the buyer may want a lifter. I won’t ever sell mine so that wasn’t a factor.
