All, The center caps on my wheels seem a bit tired. I want to put new ones on, do the HRE's use the same size caps as standard Ferrari wheels? How do I go about sizing and replacing? Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks, dsd
I lost a cap recently on my OZs which have larger center caps. Lots available on ebay. I suggest you pop out a cap and do a search using the part number. Measure the diameter as well. Good hunting. Here's a quick example (however, these particular ones are from Hong Kong and may not be authentic, but that's the general idea): http://www.ebay.com/itm/HRE-PERFORMANCE-Car-Wheel-Center-HUB-Caps-Curve-Badge-EMBLEM-BK-Chrome-4x64-5mm-/131195883394?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item1e8be24f82&vxp=mtr
Call HRE and give them the serial number on your wheels. They have center spacers made from aluminum or plastic that will allow you to use the Ferrari factory center caps. Just purchased a set last week for a used set of HRE rims I recently acquired.
Any tips for popping one out? I don't want to damage anything.[/QUOTE] Remove the rims from your car and knock them out from the back side.
Thanks. I have the older oem caps on them today and saw the new ones where 55mn, which seems to match. I think I already have that sleeve. I ordered a new set from Ricambi today, I'll let you know how it turns out.
Is that true with other manufacturers? I'd really like to put my silver Ferrari 456M centercaps on my OZs, but the holes are too big.
New caps installed. These are the new oem part number. The deeper yellow really pops. Here's an old/new pic Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
