That Maser belongs to Steve Earle, several time Ferrari Challenge National Champion and previous driver of the 355 Challenge that Rob has. He uses it for his daily driver. His wife told him he could only have like three Ferraris so he got a Maser to drive every day. I would guess you saw it somewhere around San Antonio........

Yeah, he walked up right after I took the picture. It was at the outlet mall in San Marcos. He was very nice and even gave me an autographed pic of one of his F cars.

Was the picture the one of his silver 360 challenge car. At one of the Challenge races I was sitting in the car to set up the weight bias (I am about his size) and he walked over and asked if I wanted to take it around the track. About that time they called for the cars on track so I never had the opportunity to get to drive it. He gave my son one of his baseball card type cards with his car on it. It is on his dresser next to the 1/18 model of the car......

Doc is a real nice guy. He came to Dallas when Tony Nevottis daughter died and attended the funeral. I really like him and he will share all the time with the kids that he possibly can.

 

Seemed very..... Texan.....Attached is a pic of the pic of his car. It was really great to meet him. I didn't realize he was just a few miles from Randolph.

I've seen loads of non-F cars with the SF badge on them. In fact, yesterday I saw a red Suburban with them all over the place, on the rear side windows, stickers of F1 sponsors all over the rear windows, etc. Rijk, on the board, has a big one on his Cayenne Turbo. The list goes on.

That is the car he drove at the 24 hours at Daytona. It is a 360 GT, not one of the Challenge cars. He wants to take his driving up a few notches.....
