I am considering having a wheel alignment done at the dealers.

Not really sure I need it but I simply want it done...my tires are wearing evenly.

Caster is affected by the vehicle height and since my car is no longer at its designed height (was lowered one inch) should I...

a: Expect a big disclaimer from Ferrari because car was modified?

b: The one inch height doesn't matter

c: Don't have it done and spend money on something else.

d: Stop worrying about these things!!!! :)

Thanking all in advance for your expert help.

    Yours,

    Tom

Go to a shot experience in setting up suspension and have it done. The F dealer may or may not (depending on where you are) have the capability or inclination to do this well. It wouldn't surprise me if they outsource this activity.

Actually they have a laser guided set-up in a newly renovated facility.

If the wear is even... Not sure why you'd need this at all ...

My garage is doing oil replacement on shocks. That makes the suspension behave like new with resonable cost. Also since stock coilovers are adjustable it offers the possiblity to lower the car, which i dont like

I'm not sure what effect ride height has on castor but suspect it's Nil or so close to Nil as to be negligible.

When the car was lowered the camber would have been increased significantly and correcting that would have changed the toe significantly. Do you not have an alignment report from when that process was carried out?

If not, even if the car is wearing tyres evenly and steering straight with hands off wheel, I'd be inclined to have this done as it's important that you have a benchmark for future reference or from which to move on to more radical set-up down the road if you desire.
