for those that can make it to boston the museum of fine arts will be displaying the car collection of ralph lauren....including the 1938 Bugatti Type 57SC Atlantic Coupe that Paul russell did.

Count Trossi” Mercedes-Benz SSK from 1930, with its flamboyant swept-back fenders and tapered tail. Complementing these pre-war beauties are sleek racers from the 1950s and ’60s, including an example of the legendary Jaguar XKD; a sporty Porsche 550 Spyder; and famed models from the house of Ferrari, such as the 250 Testa Rossa and the GTO

SPHFerrari, most museums do not allow photography. You have a chance of sneaking a few shots without a flash, but the guards are trained to lok for that. It's true that the flash can be damaging to some art, so they're very strict. Of course, the other primary reason is that they want you to buy the exhibit catalog, postcards, bubblegum cards, audio cassettes, and all the various other official MFA merchandise (some of which is really worth it).

Join the Ferrari Club of America, New England Region. We are putting together a special event for this exhibition, with a private reception and tour, in the beginning of April. :)

We're working on finalizing the details right now. Will be sent out to members in a month or so, most likely. Save the date, though!

That Testa Rossa is actually right in the front lobby.

I asked about taking photographs for this exhibit and the person behind the desk said a stern "no".
