Im comeing to Visit South California in August ill leave Vancouver on the 1st or 2nd..... I will try to come to the cars and coffee on August 4th or if i cant make it then ill try to come on the 11th.
Usually every week C&C features a specific type of car (in addition to the normal collection of various cars). The last time we did ferrari was May 5th - 105 showed up. The next one has yet to be planned.
Although there isn't any officially sanctioned marque for tomorrow, shouldn't there be some passing reference to tomorrow's date? It's Bastille Day, and we should show our appreciation for all of the recent impressive accomplishments by the French. I suspect there will be more than one Citroen SM (such a great abbreviation!) in attendance, and perhaps a certain R5 Turbo? "The girls in France, they wear no pants......" JB in HB
Well we had an SM and an Alpine Renault, not too bad. And I didn't see many girls wearing pants either... Just skirts
Alright so Cars and Coffee is every single Saturday right ? when im in California i willl check it out on the 11th next month
PAP 348 is coming to the USA . . . maybe. Looks like 9/6 if we can collect enough cash. Would you consider targeting 9/8 or 9/15?
August schedule: 8/4: The huge Ford GT/GT40 gathering 8/11: "regular" show 8/18: no show due to Monterey/Pebble Beach 8/25: "regular" show resumes
I read on the Ford GT forum that they are shooting for over 100 GT's to be at this place Saturday morning. Just an FYI...
I know I've got 107 FGT people on the list, but I'm not sure we'll have over 100 cars, as some chose to leave their cars at home. We'll definitely be in the 80-90 range, and depending on how many locals not involved in the full roster of events show up, we could probably be between 100-130. It would be nice to have a large complementary showing of Ferraris. Hope to see some of you there.
They ended up having about 90 GTs and another 20 or so GT40 recreations. Even half a dozen or so X1s. Pretty remarkable sight.
