Does anyone know of any scheduled cars and coffee gatherings around Greenville SC?
There isn't a C&C per say, but there is a local exotic car club that gets together once a month, I think it's the last Friday of the month perhaps? I can't quite remember. I usually roll up to the Charlotte C&C the first Saturday of each month. Always a TON of different cars to look at. Never disappoints.
The ones in NC are at the Northlake Mall off of Harris BLVD. Like I said, definitely worth checking out. Here are pics I took from the August event: http://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=808580&st=0&#entry19268748 The one for Greenville is usually held at Soby's downtown I think. Not positive but next time I talk to my guy I will try to remember and ask. It's been a while since I've been to one.
Like Andy said, you won't be disappointed at the C&C in Charlotte. There are Ferrari's,Lambo's,M-B's,Bmw's Porsche's,Aston's,Mini's,NSX's,Cobras,American Muscle,Street Rods,an Ultima usually shows up and few Vipers from Underground Racing and a ton of JDM's.Did i mention Vette's, including at least 1 ZR1 and a beautiful Maserati 3500. I think you get the idea,so come on up. B.

There is now, for the last 4 months, a C&C in Greenville at the North Hills Shopping Center. Next C&C is this Saturday, July 23, 2011, sadly, I cannot attend. The last 3 I have been to have been fun! http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=253951501297225
Uro you were there in June??? I drove down in my Evora and met David Scott. Pretty decent turnout. Asheville has one now too, but the weather turned people away this past weekend.
Andy...I drove down there yesterday morning, but there wasn't any cars. Maybe there is a schedule some where? Looking foward to seeing you guy's sometime.
Rob, I apologize for that. I got my dates mixed up and was corrected by a fellow Fchatter in person while hanging out later that afternoon. This is what it seems to look like the schedule is: Charlotte: First Saturday of the month Asheville: Second Saturday of the month Greenville: Third Saturday of the month Once again I am sorry for the mix up, I owe ya a coffee if I can ever get off of work to go to one!
Greenville C&C is the 4th Saturday of the month. Easy to get confused when there are 5 Saturdays like July this year. I was at the June one, but was in my 1970 BMW 2002 with my daughter driving. The vintage BMW guys had a little drive planned we went on, left C&C rather early-ish.
Ah is that it? Maybe I will get it right one day lol. Didn't even think about the 5th Saturday. To be honest, days off for me are so few and far between that sometimes I forget what day it is. They all just seem to run together.
Is that close to the BMW plant. Hope to come up from hiawassee ga. What exit do I look for any place to stay close. What time does it start in Alpharetta I have to get there at 5 am
Hey John, Depends on where you're coming from. It's a few exits before BMW coming up I-85N. You will get off on Exit 54 for Pelham Rd. Take a left and at the 2nd light once over the bridge, take a right. Michelin will be the big glassy looking building on your right as you go down the hill and you will follow the signs to the correct parking lot. You will go to the 2nd stoplight I believe. Starts at 8am and I would suggest arriving around that time as it does fill up rather quickly.
Thanks Andy, sounds like a nice show. I know a little about the area, but it has been a while. My good friend John Finger lives up there.
Been by his dealership and his race shop a time or two. My dad knew him from way back in the day corner working at Road Atlanta and when autocrossing was still quite popular here in the Upstate with SCCA. He wouldn't know me though.
