Maybe the coolest is Nick Masons VHS and soundtrack of running the modern version in some Jaguar recreations. There's still airborne cliff dives and broken bones as they lose one of the entries, as the soundtrack music plays on. Man you have me reaching for that to play it!
They have only made a few good to ok books on the Carrera Pan Americana. You will find more photos on this thread than in any books unfortunately. I hope someday someone puts out a great book using some of the many Kodacrome photos taken. The Phil Hill books have a lot of superb color photos of mainly the Ferrari's. Motorbooks also made an ok book on the Pan Am along with a Mexican book Hisoria De La Carrera Panamericana by Moreno and Ortega wich is in Spanish and Automobilia's Carrera Panamericana Mexico by Cimarosti wich go for $350.00-$500.00 each. Popular subject with little available new at this point in time. Also a great video was available from a Ferrarichat member a few years ago. Not sure if it is still available. The La Carrera is a poorly researched event that uses more modern cars and has nothing to do with the 1950-1954 historic event. I dislike that events poor historical accuracy.
Remains of the Pegaso Z102 that crashed in 1954. Was later scrapped in Spain.
