Dear friends: I am thinking about switching the wheels of my Pista to carbon wheels(the ones that come with 488 Pista Piloti). Is it necessary any new software calibration when switching?
    Thank you!

As long as the rolling diameter is the same..there shouldn't be an issue. Just be mega mega careful of the roads you take those on.

Just a note...we have had 2 Rolls Royce carbon wheels crack and they will no longer hold air pressure. Not repairable..10k per wheel . ImHO..they are not practical for normal street use. I would stick to the factory wheel.

Carbon wheels were an official option for the Pista (and even for the F8 I think), they are completely identical to standard wheels in terms of size and offset (so they can be swapped at will). Apart from look (which is debatable) their advantage is weight (even more useful since it's not-suspended weight).
The drawback is the cost on a car that's used, because any damage will be expensive.

You're not really going to be able to feel the benefits too much on a car. If you install Carbon Fiber wheels on a motorcycle, then you can feel it, but even there, it's rather subtle. On a sports bike, where you can detect the difference, it's felt mostly going over bumps and/or leaning the bike. However, you have to really be paying attention to feel it. The best way I can describe the sensation of installing carbon fiber wheels on a motorcycle is that it's like someone put pillows under your wheels for the bumps, kinda. Unless you are really focused on it, it would be easy to not even really notice the difference (especially if you aren't running near Moto GP suspension on your bike as well).

On a car, I doubt you'd be able to tell anything at all - even though the benefits would exist due to less unsprung weight and better MOI.
