Hello All, I'm new to the 360 section as I currently own a 308, but I'm in the market for a 360 Spider 6 speed and I have a couple of questions about seats. Almost everything I've looked at has the Daytona option but I've also found one or two with leather covered carbon fibre seats. Do any of you guys have photos of the OEM carbon seats so that I can be sure that what's on offer is OEM as opposed to after market? Also, if they are OEM, were they available in three sizes, and if so (because the sellers don't have the original window sticker) how can I check what size seat is installed in the car? I cannot easily check the seat sizes myself as the cars I'm interested in are thousands of miles away from where I live. Thanks a lot for your help.
All I know is there aren't many out there. Couple that with a 6 speed manual transmission and you are searching for a rare car. I don't recall seeing any CF racing seats when I was looking at 360s. It was hard enough finding a manual shift car in the right color combo. If that is important to you, you may have to buy the car you like, then install the seats. Good luck and keep us posted.
If you quote the VIN number to an F car dealer they should be able to call up all car options installed at factory including if seats were carbon and what size. I did this several times when looking at CS's.
Thanks for the input guys. I think I might have found the car, but the broker who's selling it can't tell me what size the seats are. I'm sure that medium will be the right size for me, but am worried that the large size might have been ordered. Good tip -- I'll call FNA (or a dealer) with the VIN and they should be able to tell me exactly which seats were installed at the factory. Thanks a lot. Hopefully I'll get my 360 soon, and I'll then start participating on this section of fchat. I really like the idea of a 360 Spider with an "old fashioned" 6 speed. Should be lots of fun I think.
I've recently installed a set of Carbon Seats in my Spider. I must say that it is a huge difference from my stock seats, highly recommended. My sets are from a CS and seem to be " medium " I am 6'0" - 195 Lbs and fit well in them. Pictures for reference ... excuse the dust . When I took my seats out last month to clean them up I saw a sticker under the drivers seat bottom that indicated they were "medium" sized. Perhaps a view with a mirror under the front of the seat?
I had the race seats in my 360, they looked like the above picture. I am 6' 4"" 210lbs and the large seats were good but snug. They are very comfortable and significantly lighter than the daytonas.
I have the racing seats in my 360 spider because I would not be able to drive it without them! At 6'4" and a bit on the large size I can't fit in a car with the electric daytona seats.
There is a terrific yellow 360 spider six speed at Marshall Goldman in Cleveland. It has the seats you are looking for black with yellow stiching. Good luck , Greg
Thanks for the the info greggyll, but I can't find the vehicle at Marshall Goldman in Cleveland. Are you sure that's where you saw it?

The seats are from a CS that I purchased for a simulator project and to convert my 360 Spider to a " Stradale Spider ". Prior to purchasing the CS I could not find any CS seats. At one point I considered using Sparco seats , they do have some acceptable alternatives. http://www.sparcousa.com/pseats_street.asp?id=196
Those racing seats really are superb, I did a road trip a 360 that has then fitted and to be honest I found them much more comfortable than the Daytona seats.
Totally in agreement with you, we did a 5 hour drive this weekend, first time with the CS seats , and they where very comfortable.
Try to look for a set of 430 carbon seats, looks so much better. I am very sure they will fit because they use same shell.
The amusing thing is whenever someone saw that car, they always thought the seats looked hard and uncomfortable, couldnt be further from the truth, not sure but it seemed to me the sports seats were lower and the whole feeling, was for want of a better word, more "racey".
My car came with the CS seats, they are size large, I am 6'2" weigh 175lbs, I fit in them nicely. They are very comfortable. I have ridden in my buddies car with the comfort seats, they are soft... to soft, plus you move around in them during hard corning. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I have heard the standard electric seats referred to as comfort seats... extra padding and the additional adjustability make them more comfortable.
