Cara & Coffee - Williamsburg, VA

Hey everyone, not sure if you were aware, but it seems that the local sponsor of Terra Coffee & Wine Bistro has been dropped in favor of a more enthusiastic sponsor, JJ Jitterz Coffee, located in the premium outlet mall.

This saturday (12/18) will be the first meet at the new venue (only 2.5mi down the road from the original venue), as well as the last meet of the decade. Because Christmas will be taking place the following weekend, there will be no rain/snow date. We're really hoping to make a big impact for the new sponsors this weekend by bringing out the toys, and I believe we will have quite a lot of cars coming through this weekend.

I understand that many of you wouldn't care to stand in the freezing cold for a couple hours, but for many people who have never seen a Ferrari or similar exotic, it couldn't help but make their holiday a bit more special. I'll be out there as usual, snapping photos, and I hope to see some of you there!

Directions : From Richmond or VA Beach take 64 to the Lightfoot exit (199) to Hwy 60, Richmond Rd. At the bottom of the ramp turn right - Drive approximately 2.5 miles to the Premium Outlet Mall... look for the Food Court - We'll be right out front!

will the next one be on 15 jan or the week after? also is the new location the prime outlets? the one with burberry and all on richmond road?

 

yep, Jan 15th will be the next C&C Williamsburg event, with the rain date set for the following Saturday. C&C Virginia Beach is actually meeting this Saturday, as the first Saturday of the month was the New Year's Day. And yes, that is the road where the event will take place, along the row with Burberry, but a bit further down, closer to Aldo, American Eagle, and the Food Court.

I was google searching for Cars & Coffee Williamsburg this morning and it returned a string of your messages and they caught my eye. (Ran into one of you fellas (at the movie tavern Saturday night) his name was Bill or Bob..) He is in charge of the Ferraris on the Vine venue at Williamsburg Winery. Put these two facts together I thought I should register and see how much interest for C&C Williamsburg there might be in here.

I would really like to extend a warm invitation to those of you who have not made it out. This month's meet will be on the 19 of February (a 3 day weekend for Presidents Day) affording just a bit more time for you to run your errands before the weekend is over. Got an text from a friend last week regarding your C&C at the outlets in Williamsburg every 3rd Sat of the month.

So my wife and I uncovered the Cobra 427 SC and headed over there for today’s event (19 Feb C&C at the outlets in Williamsburg).

Wow - what a gathering. Congratulations on the turn out and I, like most I‘m sure, appreciate your efforts.

To the gentleman w/ the Ferrari parked next to me this morning (I had the blue w/ white striped AC Cobra), good chatting with you. See you at the winery in Apr.

Hi all, Sorry I've not been back in a few weeks. Its been a little hectic behind the scenes working to improve the attendance, upgrade the eye-candy, and think up innovative ways to continue the tradition in the future.

As is obvious to those who've made it out since the holidays - the move to the Premium Outlet Mall - Food Court area has paid big dividends. We have a great working relationship with JJ Jitterzz (our sponsor) and just this past week met with the general manager of the mall to tweak understanding between all parties. As a result, there will be a bit of relocation for the next event - nothing to concern yourselves over... just a lane or two, mainly for the safety of our patrons. The move puts us more toward the center of the lot - in the area where the park benches are and it will afford an even more relaxing atmosphere over all. We'll surround that island on both sides... I think you'll like it - Just look for our new C&C banner (permission granted for future use just this past week)

My associate coordinators and I will be strategically placed during the early part of the meet to direct traffic and get people parked safely. We are supposed to have orange saw-horses provided for the next event. They'll more clearly define our area for use and keep our cars safer from "SHOPPERS".

Also - in the past we've reversed the flow of traffic to make it easier to back into the parking spots. We may revise this beginning in April now that we'll be surrounding the court area there. So carry away from this thread that we are asking folks to watch for those who are directing traffic to point you in the right direction. We'll assist for a few events till people seem to recognize the new layout. As always in a parking lot the best way to keep your cars safe is drive slowly while in the vicinity of C&C Williamsburg designated parking. It will make us all safer for your having done so.

Also I'd like to mention that it takes all of us to manage decorum. Please remember that we have a no rev / no burnout policy. If someone near you does either - please ask them to stop. Our continued success in Williamsburg hinges on our behavior. One could ruin it for all as a result of an accident. I've discussed this with the GM of the mall and he recognized that we must be actively promoting safety b/c as yet he's not recieved one single complaint.

Seems like forever since the last meet at Cars & Coffee ~ Williamsburg. But, Its that time of the month again! We at C&C are hoping that those of you who participated in Ferraris on the Vine at the Winery during the month of April will come on out to cars & coffee Williamsburg and give us another opportunity to see and photograph your cars. We're all looking forward to enjoying the spring weather, surrounded by the sounds of Horsepower.

Things are looking good at the Premium Outlet Mall and as you recall - we have plenty of space. So come on out for a cup of coffee and some car talk. Those of you who've been out of town, come on back this Saturday the 21st... We all want to see the new mods you guys are sporting for 2011!
