Car Configurator problems

Just tried and had the same issue. Problem seems to be with their site.

 

Configurator doesn't work. Maybe they have sold all the cars they can sell and have shut it down

 

same on different browsers (chrome, safari and IE), could be a glitch during an update so you can start building Spiders on their site. But thats wishful thinking

 

I have gone to different sites all saying Ferrari Configurator to find one that works. However, I recently was in New York at the Ferrari Sales Office where they have "the" configurator, "detailing" interior and exteriior options on a very large screen. I would find another one of these if you are serious about visualizing before ordering. Best

 

Oddly the 599GTB configurator seems to work, but neither the FF nor the Italia. I didn't try any others. This seems to rule out a general system problem but why specific models would be nonfunctional is a head scratcher for me.

 

Maybe they're adding new options to it?

 

Good thought. That would be consistent with the 599 being near the end of its run. The 599 GTO also works but the California doesn't.

 

I could very well be mistaken but the staff in New York where they have their primary representatives of Ferrari said the Configurator they had was not availalble in most stores , but would be next year. Again, I have not been in a Ferrari Dealership looking for one. Best

 

I was having problem too. I hope this will be fixed.

 

My guess is they are adding the spider configuration.

 

And that would be awesome if you're guess is right. By the way, how can i configure a two tone 458 Italia? I can't seem to find it. Is it only available for dealers?

 

The configurator does not have every possible customizing feature. Some have to be done at the dealer. But, if I remember, you can select the two tone top and bottom on the current version.

 

Thé old configurator ( for thé 430 ) was so Nice !!!

 

I sent mail through the registered owners customer support page and got back a "Could you be more specific?" reply, even though I was fairly specific, which I responded to this morning. I confirmed with my dealer that the site wasn't working for them either, but their contacts are out of the office until Monday. But hopefully things will be fixed next week, as I wanted to take screen shots of what my ordered 458 will look like.

 

Good luck getting anything fixed in Italy this week !!! Don't get sick either.

 

I see. Cause Ive seen some photos and videos of a screen with a 458 Italia two tone configuration.

 

The configurator is back up and they finally added the Spider!

 

It works on Windows but not on my Mac. Apple does not support Flash Player.Anybody know away around this ?

 

I was under the impression that only mobile products like the iPad and iPhone didn't support flash.

 

The configurator does work on my Mac. It just keeps refreshing the page for about three seconds, then after another three seconds the configurator works. It works for the 458, Spider, FF and 599.

 

The 458 Spider Configurator is not working on my Windows. I'm using Google Chrome as my browser.
