car "bogging down"

    Hey guy's, my daily driver runs fine, however, at 40 - 50 mph when I go to accelerate hard, it sounds/feels like it is "bogging down".....engine sound goes Low, car feels like its drowning...........then it'll accerlate really slowly. Any ideas? What should I be looking for?

    weeeeeelll... make, model, mileage, carb, FI, mods.... so far we know... it's a car. :confused:

    going by my vast knowledge of 'cars' in particular, i'd say it's your pump jet overfueling.

    sorry, it's a 2000 nissan sentra, 4 cyl. fuel inj...........I was thinking maybe needs new plugs? 40k mileage
