Up for sale is a Capristo “Twin Sound” Valved Exhaust for a Ferrari F430. This is a complete system which includes the upgraded Capristo muffler mounts as well as the Capristo exhaust remote kit. This exact setup new currently retails for $7,790. I'm selling it because I'm switching to something louder (S-Line).

The exhaust has approximately 10k miles on it and is in great condition overall. In full disclosure, one of the brackets for the valves recently failed so I had a local shop repair & reinforce the bracket in addition to preventatively making a reinforcement washer for the valve mounting point on the other set of tips. In my opinion this should prove to be stronger than how it was built originally. Nothing is missing from the kit to install it exactly as a new exhaust would come directly from Capristo. All plug & play and ready for someone else to enjoy.

Asking $5,000 shipped CONUS. Not looking to ship internationally unless the buyer is willing to cover the additional cost. I’m located in the SF Bay Area if any local buyers are interested. I'm a newer member to Fchat, but I've got plenty of positive feedback from other sites if there is any concern about legitimacy.

I have the same exhaust, S-Line is a great exhaust but not louder. I have driven both. This exhaust sounds great and a good price.

Hi, How loud is it compared to stock (valves open and closed)?

Hi Mark, my F430 came with the Capristo already installed so I unfortunately don't have a good gauge for how it compares to stock. What I can tell you is that with the valves closed it's very quiet when cruising and has absolutely no drone. With the valves open it's much louder at all RPMs but the tone is very nice.

The best Youtube representation of the Capristo I've found is this one: but given that car also has the Capristo headers and high-flow cats it won't be quite as loud/raspy with only the Capristo muffler.

Thanks! My car came with Fabspeed headers (w/blankets) with stock main cats and stock valved exhaust. The valves open up too early / often and it is LOUD (for my Wife and HOA anyway). I have purchased a Forza controller and plan to install to force the valves closed on demand. Hopefully that will make the car more 'socially acceptable' :) I am looking mostly for heat reduction in the engine compartment.

Capristo (even the valved system) offers some good weight savings over stock too. I weighed the Capristo at ~44lbs whereas stock I believe is closer to 64lbs. So a good way to shave 20lbs from the rear!
