    Had it installed, but one of the remotes isn't paired. I was going to go through the process, but looks like I didn't get the magnet back from the shop ...anyone know what it looks like it if I can just use a regular kitchen magnet?

    It looks like a tiny version of the game piece on the board game "Sorry" that we used to play as kids.
    The base of it is a tiny magnet, probably 5mm diameter (as far as I remember, but I have bad memory, lol).
    So to answer your question, You should probably be ok with a small refrigerator magnet if I had to guess.

    A regular magnet on a stick should work fine. It’s not all that big of a magnet, but I don’t think that’s going to be important.

    Yup I used one of this magnets you get from a name tag / badge they dish out at conferences.

    Works perfectly

    Just search magnetic name tag and it will pop up. It’s a steel rectangle with2 round magnets on it. Costs like a dollar.
