i'm at the track event at Homestead and my trunk won't open. My helmet and other gear is in there. Any suggestions? I have a 2013 458 spider. I tried both the button in the car in the remote. I tried pushing up and down on the trunk to relieve pressure. The fuse boxes in there so I don't know how I would access that either.I tried cycling the convertible top as I heard an improper top closing can cause malfunction. How do you get into the trunk if the electric latch does not operate?
To reset ...use the remote to lock and unlock the doors. Then try the trunk. I believe there is a string or something on left hand side under the dash if all else fails.
I've had that happen before as well. I started the car for a few seconds and also have locked and unlocked the car as mentioned above. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I had this happen with the trunk once and lock unlock worked after 10 tries or so. The fun glitch I had was when the fuel door would not open and I had two bars. Lock unlock no luck....Drove 15 minutes and it opened up finally.
I have this issue but i can open it only from car key remote. I cant ooen it from inside button beside gas button. Any idea why i cant open it from inside button?
Most likely a bad interior switch or loose connection to it, since it otherwise functions. Sent from my iPad using FerrariChat
i checked and I discovered that the trunk button isnt working due to button loose. I am not sure if it can be fixed or better to change it.
