The best color on a Ferrari,IMO but I would not pay additional $12k or so on ordered car. Grigio Silverstone looks very similar and is free.
...but "Canna Di Fucile" did not exist yet when 328 were sold new, at least not from the factory; there was a (Glasurit) color that is rather close to CDF, which name was: "Grigio 700/C". My guess (I'm authorising myself to guess...) is that you actually saw a "Grigio 700/C" 328. A color that suits the 328 very well, by the way. The problem, as said many times about colors on Ferraris, is that along the years you might find the same name for a different color; or the same color with a different name. It's not easy, you need to have a look at the paint label, and the name of the manufacturer, name of the color, reference of the color. Rgds
To which car has this wonderful color been applied? A 355 pic hasn't been posted yet: Image Unavailable, Please Login
There is a great 355 w. tobacco interior in my area. Love it, but then I shopped for my car looking for "anything but red".
I think that color is a matter of your own taste so why ask for an opinion?? Either YOU like it or you don't To me a Ferrari is red or black...again that's what I like. Good Luck with a BEAUTIFUL car!
Have it on my F12. Love it, I personally think it is the coolest color I have seen live. It may depend on the model, but seeing the previous owners 488 in CdF, maybe not. I'll post a pic up when I can but absolutely in love with it.
These gray colors are beautiful in the sunlight but it has always bothered me that they make the car practically dissapear in low light (dusk,cloudy/rain). Visibility for safety is a big deal for me, Maybe too much two wheel time? Maybe just too safety consious? What do you think?
CdF is what I would have ordered if Verde British hadn't been available. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I like very much Canna di Fucile colour for large cars, V12, have you never seen a Testarossa in CdF color : it is really wonderful ! But also 308 is good. CdF give to me the idea of strong iron ! ...and help me to forget how much fragile are Fcars....
Does anyone besides me worry that gray cars are extremely difficult to see in shadows and at dusk and in the dark? I wonder if there is a correlation between color and wrecks?
Never had an issue of anyone seeing me in a Ferrari no matter the color! I loved my 488 spider in CdF- the light playing off the surfaces was infinite in it variations (my prior 458 in G Titanio was bland in comparison) but the cost is not justified imho as silver Stone is very close. I have since had an 812S in black and have a GTS in order also in black- harder time keep clean than the CdF. Grays in general hide dirt better( the best for that however is white!) I know I'm very late in reacting to this, but what an awesome car ! Truly gorgeous. Would you mind telling me what the interior color is ? Cuoio, Terra bruciata, or something else ?
Loving all the pictures in this thread. Never knew the name of this shade, and on the CS I am absolutely SHOOK.
Loved CdF since I was a boy. Switched F8S to it fro GS last minute. SA said why do it for 12k its so close. I did it and love it. It never looks to same in different light. Great to play off - shields and rosso scuderia brakes in this case. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
