    hope this isn't a dumb question, but does anyone know if 365/400/412 cars came to North America under one "blanket" sort of spec, or if there was seperate U.S. and Canadian cars?

    There were no US spec. 400's from the factory all were modified later.

    As Fritz said...all 400's were euro.

    Thanks for the replies. I thought 400i and 412 were "officially" available in North America (and that they had said market in mnd with the auto tranny and all...)

    The plan was to make them available to the US market, but that never happened.
