    Is it a body shop that Ferrari outsources work to? Is it more than that? What is it exactly?

    If I remember correctly, it was a body shop that was opened for Enzo Ferrari, because he wanted a place that could work on and repair Ferrari's. So it was some kind of collaboration between Ferrari and Zanasi. Today they are still used by Ferrari to repair Ferrari's that have had body damage and for restoring old classic Ferraris. Maybe the classiche program is running at Zanasi?

    That's what I was wondering. However with the amount of praise from customers, and the way Classiche is in the enthusiast media, I'd imagine it's a very close partnership.

    They did the bare carbon Enzo, a Scuderia 16M with a denim interior, and a matte blue 430 Challenge car.... They've got a very good eye for detail.

    Hi,

    Zanasi work very closely with the Ferrari Factory, and do limited production work for them that cannot be done in the factory!

    All the Enzo`s were painted by Zanasi for instance!!

    They do very high quality work as you can see from the Video.

    Try and get a copy of "Ferrari Magazine" issue #4. They did a complete article on Zanasi and it explains in good detail of their accomplishments and history.

    They are Ferrari's official "body shop" where repairs, retro-fits and restorations are done. They also assist Ferrari with difficult processes such as CF painting, CF installations and other body painting. (They paint the racing stripes on the Scud). They also install and assemble various parts on limited run cars. (Plex-roof of the 575 SA, convertible top of 550 Barchetta).
