I have one of those mega Ferrari chargers (see pic). The lights usually progress from red to red/yellow to red/yellow/green all lit at once when the charge is full. When I went to plug it in the last time the lights showed as solid red and both the yellow and green lights were blinking. Unplugging/replugging and numerous other trial and error attempts did nothing to solve the problem. I'm sure the battery is not charging normally. I just need to know what the blinking lights mean? A bad charger? No connection to the battery? Thanks!

Jeffrey, your charger still thinks it's Christmas time as evidenced by the beautiful blinking lights.....

I honestly have not a clue! Will be in Laguna this weekend and will give you a shout.

Duh Jeffrey, the blinking light means it's time for Dom to drive the Enzo.

    Nice Avatar Carbon!!!

Usually when the battery is bad and cannot take a charge or you have a bad connection the lights will do that.

This occurs when the charger does not see itself conected to a battery. Generally we see this is caused by a blown battery charger fuse in the car. Ferrari generally uses a 15 amp fuse to protect the circuit. If you look at the charger it is a 15 amp max output charger which can cause a fuse failure if connected to a very low battery.
The fuse should be listed in your owners manual.
I did not see where you mentioned what model this is being used on.

    What they /\/\/\ said...

From my experience, either your connection isn't right and the charger doesn't 'recognize' that it's connected, or your battery is really dead.

It means that something disrupted the charging process (openiing of the door for example) and it is no longer charging. Just unplug the charger and reinsert the plud - should be fine and lights should stop blinking

Thanks for the replies. It's connected to my Enzo and the battery is fine. Cars starts up with no issue. I've connected and reconnected it several times to no avail.

Where is this 15amp fuse located in the car? Is it near the plug in the front trunk area? Is there possibly a fuse inside the charger itself?

Thanks for the replies and assistance.
