I don't know for certain but I just replaced the battery in my 2014 California that I purchased from the Seattle area two years ago. The battery I took out has a build date of 2-2015 (B5).
The car has about 20k miles on it, I've put on the last 14k. (tendered unless daily driven)

I don't know how the battery spent it's first 8 years but the last 2 where in my car.

Time to go buy a lottery ticket.

It is definitely possible in a Lexus. I bought my LS460 new in July, 2007, and didn't replace the battery until May 2017. And that was only because I thought I got enough out of it and didn't want to be stranded some day. The original battery was a Panasonic. Unfortunately I couldn't find another Panasonic to replace it. I replaced it with an Interstate and that battery lasted until July, 2024.

I use Interstate in both of my Ferraris.

I've had a Panasonic last almost just as long...also a car made in Japan. I wanted to replace it with another Panasonic, but no luck finding it stateside...some Johnson Controls branded stuff that lasts 3-5 years if lucky.

I replaced the original Ferrari battery in my 2013 458 last summer. Original lasted eleven years- pretty good! I was pretty anal about keeping it on the
charger, I guess it liked that.

So I have a Freightliner truck that the batteries lasted eighteen years. Two batteries wired in parallel, never trickle charged and pretty much ignored.
Started every time until it didn't.

Seems like the BULK of my cars, tractors, skidsteers,,excavators, trucks, the batteries SEEM to die at five years- your mileage may vary.

I don't se why not. My 2015 Ram truck still has the original battery. If I go on a trip, I put a tender on it while away.

Yes, it could last that long. After getting stranded in an 11 year old battery on my BMW which educated me quickly about date codes, never again. Looking back how it always started quickly but the cranking didn't have the same vigor was my first clue. In my defense as the #3 summer car it was taken for granted.

I haven't had a battery last that long in my 360 and I keep it on a tender when not in use. I did, however, get 12 years out of a battery in my 993.

A couple of battery notes; if you flatten a lead acid battery more than twice chances it will be done. That is why golf carts and boats use deep cycle batteries that will survive being fully discharged. Also, the major auto parts stores will only warrentee their batteries for 2 years, AND will only replace it once! Seems the life cycle of batteries are a crap shoot, some a couple of years some 15 years as mentioned previous. It is a good rule that at the first sign of a problem such as slow cranking or hesitation; change it out before you are stuck at midnight in a strange city.

I got mine in my 328 (84000 miles)for 9 years and still very good. Always on a tender I think is the key

My old Interstate battery lasted me over 11 years, could have gone 12 years or more if I knew the problem was the alternator not the battery.

Cannot say all Ferraris however the 488GTB and Pista 100% draw electricity even if the car is off.

The picture is of the rear leds with the car off., It doesn't make a difference whether the alarm is on or of. The Leds are slightly lite.

So always have your tender on. ALWAYS.

Some are lucky however the STD factory batter is crap. Replace it before you are stranded and or have a starter on you ALWAYS.

Can be. I had the one in my daily driver (a big VW Diesel) replaced recently. It was 15 years old.
