    Here's a degree wheel for the 512TR.

    Due North is top dead centre for chosen piston. Due south is bottom dead centre.

    The outer shaded area is intake valve open duration. The inner shaded area is exhaust valve open duration.

    Now the big debate on how to find TDC :p

    I see Dave Rocks has a handy tool for finding TDC using the piston stop method.

    Tolerances are shown on page B14 of the WSM.

    Are the values the same for the 2.7 and 5.2? I see the values are different on the 512TR for USA cars.

    Another question I had is I just looked at my cam seals

    I do not see any drain holes
    My car is a 99 so is it possible it has diffferent seals
    I am looking at the part number 27
    My part numbers 26 have grooves cut at the 5 and 7 o’clock position that look,like they drain oil that might be trapped within the seal back into
    The head
    Any ideas because I have new seals from ricambi and there are no holes in them.
    Am I missing something
