    Jay, do you know if these can be registered on a car in California and, if so, what would be the series for 1965? I have a 65 Vette and it might be really cool to get 65 plates for it (right now I have the “current” black plate for it).

    In addition, you have to 1) check with the DMV to make sure the particular letter/number combination is not currently in use or stricken, 2) obtain 65 tags to mount on the plates.
