I did a search and didnt come up with anything.

I will be installing an exhaust valve controller soon and would like to completely remove the rear diffuser.

I removed all the visible panel screws but the diffuser still wont drop down.

I have a copy of the workshop manual and it showed all the screws that needs to be removed but the diffuser still wont give and be completely removed.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Dan

    Hi Dan

Think you have to take the entire bumper off.

If it is like the Portofino, the whole rear bumper cover has to come off. OR,you can see if it is a DIY. Read the thread "Novitec Portofino SwitchTronic Valve Controller" on page 7 here.

    Hi Mick,

Per the workshop manual I think you are right, the whole rear bumper has to come off :(
Oh well, if that is the only way - it is what it is. Thanks for the info.

Just to post an update to this thread of mine - yes I had to remove the rear bumper to gain access to the mufflers for removal and replacement.

Hey Dan ,I purchased the Capristo valve remote as well for my Cali T as well. How did you install the controller? Did you have to remove the diffuser , if so, how did you do it. Also I do have a lift which should make it a little easier.

    Hi Mike,

I actually created a DIY post on installing the Sport Exhaust & Valve Controller.
I also attached the corresponding Workshop Manual pages.

    Please see my thread here.

    Hope that helps.
