Has anyone found the set up to soft and the car prone to grounding on bumpy road or the rear wheels scraping inside the arches during hard cornering?

Was surprised to hear of this when chatting to California owners recently, it also appears there is not much difference between those cars fitted with the standard suspension and the magna ride.

This does beg the question, with the 458 spider coming out perhaps Ferrari will offer a performance pack for the California....

There are some aftermarket offerings that will solve the issue. Thats really your best bet.

Soft, but it still will perform pretty well on the track.

I do not remember mine bottoming out at all. Even on the track, my instructor wanted it in comfort mode for the first session and it never hit bottom. The stability control hit the brakes pretty hard though on a corner that crested a hill at the same time after I learned how fast to push that corner anyway. But no bottoming.

Agreed, havent spoken to anyone who had any of these issues on the track....perhaps our roads are worse than most other places...

+1. Maybe the Cali haters might want to go to a different forum. I'm getting a little tired of defending it. Then again, i'll just take solace in the fact that.....well......i just get to enjoy it any and every day i want to!

No defense is necessary. Sam probably has not had his on the track yet. It gets a hell of a lot more manly doing 144 at the end of the long straight. Blowing the doors off of the Porsches was way fun! Mine has magnaride possibly the others are hitting bottom?

Sad day ... mine is still at the dealer looking at the fix for the noisy transmission. And weather is beautiful today (for NW Ohio anyway).
