Sorry but I've got some pet peeves here...

Charging to have a red or yellow tach? That's tacky (and I'm not just making a pun).

Also, a grand for cruise control? Come on, it's free on the average Toyota. The base car is almost 200G's and they can't toss in cruise control standard?

Some of the CF stuff seems over the top also for what it is.....

    In a word: Annoying.

Thanks for posting the option list. Looks like you can buy ( if you can find it) a new 430 spider for the price of the California with options that most may want. Not sure what you get for $5,100 worth of electric seats - back rub while you drive? If anybody knows please post.

some of the features are necessary most are cosmetic and expensive...some basics (tach, cruise etc) should be standard or cheaper. Many of the add ons are unecessary.

Wow making cruise control and option is just plain evil marketing! So what's the default caliper and tach colour if you've got to pay a ridiculously huge sum just to change the colour of a tiny little item?

On a side note, I still haven't seen anything that beats the $1000 FERRARI HANGERS option on the 599.

And I was able to upgrade all three of my Ferraris to be IPOD compatible for less than what they are asking on this car...

I'm not too sure, I think you just get these wooden Ferrari branded hangers and a little pole of sorts behind the seats to hang your coats from haha!

LOL you can go to Home Depot and buy heat-resistant enamel, tape and paper off the rotors, wheel-wells, and body areas, and paint the calipers in your driveway over a few laughs and beer for about 12 bucks.

If there's such a time constraint, wouldn't it be easier/quicker to get an updated list from the dealer you ordered from, rather than waiting for a response on a chat board?

Some of those "options" come standard on Hyundai's. How much do electric windows and door locks cost? ;) I like to get kissed before I get screwed.
