California HS 30 production numbers

According to my previous search there are 271 California 30 with Handling Package... worldwide. Very rare indeed.

 

10.900 California produced
Of which 2900 California 30 produced
9% of 2900 California 30 with handling package

 

Are you sure the Special Handling package is only available in less than 300 Cali30 around the world (and none in the regular Cali)? Where do the stats come from?

Just curious as I own a Cali30 with this package and as I thought every Cali30 came with it . If correct, I did not know I own a « rare » version.

 

+1 sub and I would also like to know the source of the production numbers. I recently bought a 30 and it has the Special Handling package too. I am pretty certain the package wasn’t available on early 09-11 cars and is only an option on later, 30 variants

The HS package was only available on the Cali30 (2013/2014). Without the source of the production numbers in the previous posts, last week I checked all the Cali30s sold by F dealers around the country. Only about 20% of the available models had the HS package. At least it’s a hint on the fact that the HS package seems to be “rare” (good for you and me )

 

Good to know! I must share that my Cali is a 12 plate (first registered 30th June 2012). It is a 30 model (verified by Ferrari) and also has the HS package (again verified by Ferrari and as shown in the configuration within the MyFerrari app). It also has the typical grey coloured sport grilles and prior to purchasing I tested several early 460hp/non-HS Cali’s before buying mine… the difference in power & handling is quite noticeable.

I also initially thought it was only 13/14 model cars that were 30s / HS option-able and it seems that’s what most publications state, however, my limited research so far leads me to believe that I am in possession of one of the first 30/HS cars built and and very interested to know if there are any 2012 cars that are 30 variant AND have the HS option, particularly in the UK RHD market.

A question came immediately to my mind when I started reading your post: where are you located? The answer was on the last line: the U.K. That explains everything: the European market got the Cali30 with the HS package as a 2012 model year, and the U.S. got it as a 2013 model. So, yes you can have the HS package in a 2012 European model. How do you like your Cali30?

 

Just to add more information on the 9% California 30 equiped with the HS Package :

- many California 30 where sold in the US with the HS pack = the 20% seems realistic to me.
- same in UK, must be close to the US numbers.
- very little quantity rest of the world, especially in Europe (there are currently 3 HS package cars for sale out of 50 California 30).
