    Hi..
i have a problem when i want to replace the original radio with a kenwood 2-din radio.
Ferrari CALIFORNIA ASSEMBLY KIT is no longer available number : 70003476.
So I made the changes to the original mounting plate myself and kenwood goes perfectly into place.
problems start with the wiring harness. the car has a chrysler connector and i ordered a pac audio wiring harness.https://catalog.pac-audio.com/catalog/radio-replacement/rp4-ch11
The funny thing is that the steering wheel buttons work in kenwood but the acc power control doesn't work. likewise no reverse gear input and no radio channels can be found at all.apparently the radio antenna amplifier does not wake up.. ( I made my own electrical connection to temporarily test the radio ).
I've been trying to find radio wiring sets using google but can't find anything anymore.
does anyone have any information on where else to order a radio wiring harness for this car that would work.
and the fact that I live in Finland does not make it any easier, because there are very few such cars in this country

Hi. The model year is 2010 standart california , and there is no camera, there is no separate amplifier (harman kardon).Pretty basic because the speakers work when I put kenwood to work by putting electricity on temporarily +12v and acc ..

Ok, so you may have the wrong chrysler set up. The nice thing about the PAC set up is you can download the correct file for the most appropriate comparrison.

The OEM Harman Nit uses can bus to turn the radio on, reverse etc. So you need the correct can bus decoder for that.

Your Ferrari OEM nit is most similar to this:
Dodge (2010-2011) Caliber, Dakota, Jeep Compass, Patriot P05064953AE Head Unit pinout

    https://pinoutguide.com/Car-Stereo-Chrysler-Fiat/chrysler_ret_car_stero_pinout.shtml

So if the head unit is properly wired you should be able to download the correct file from PAC

I myself have not used the PAC products so I am not sure how accurate their decoder is for you car. If theirs doesn't work, I am sure you can find a cheaper harness on amazon or eBay.

HI... i tried to find the wiring harness on ebay and amazon but can't find it .. if you have a link for working wiring harness please give... I then order one. i don't necessarily have to use pac audio ... as long as i get kenwood and car to work together... the wiring harness brand or manufacturer doesn’t matter as long as it works...

You Pac wiring harness should be fine. You just need to refresh their controller with the correct chrysler model and should be ok. If that doesn't work, try contacting crutchfield.com
