I am currently thinking of buying a Used F430 while waiting for the new 458 to be launch in this part of the world. Need advise and tips on what to look out for when i go hunt for one.

    My advice would be:

1). Subscribe, to help support this great forum.

2). Use the 'search' feature which will help you locate many threads that have discussed this same topic in the past.

Good luck with your 430 hunt.

Need more info. Will you be dumping either the 430 or the 575M when your Italia comes in? F1 or manual? With or without a top? etc etc etc

God, man, help us, help you <Best Tom Cruise Impression Possible> :)

All of the above are correct but in general:

Worry less about mileage, year, and price and more about service and condition.

I also agree your question is not specific enough to really give a good answer. F1 vs 6 speed, Spider vs Coupe, CCB's vs no CCB's, modified or original, your price range, must have options, etc

Also, if your goal is really a 458, ONLY buy your used F430 through your local dealer. You get no credit with him for owning a Ferrari... just from buying one from him.

Check out sites like ebay motors or dupont registry. Not necessarily to buy, but to look at endless photos of cars that are out there in the market. I found that was very useful tool in deciding what colors, options, ect... I wanted in my car.

Enjoy the search! Its a lot of fun.

I agree that your question is too vague. Educate yourself by using the search function first.

Good point and it may be possible to remarket your 430, PPI it, etc as part of the deal to get you into the Italia.
