Any buyer of Dino 03656 should exercise due diligence prior to their purchase of 03656.

It was restored by Carlo Durante of Alfa of Tacoma and was one of his last two restoration before closing his shop. During this same time, a Miura #40xx restoration was also taken on and Carlo worked on the two cars side-by-side for almost two years before the Miura owner received his car in August, just in time to drive from Seattle to Monterey as it had been invited to show at The Quail. Upon driving South for teh event, the owner told me "the car didn't drive well on the way to Monterey".

In fact, the Miura owner had to stop several times along the way and visited two shops as he reported that the Miura kept "bottoming out". The Miura would never complete that trip.
It ended up returning to Seattle on a flat bed truck where it spent over 6 months at Dennison International where they had to "correct" Carlo's restoration.

Carlo Durante had installed the suspension A-Arms on the wrong side of the car and those gorgeous original Italian casting have strike marks on them from the interference hits. Castings that can never be original again. Carlo does not "do" digital photos for restorations. Old school only from an old memory.

But that was the car next to Dino 03656 in a side-by-side restoration.
What do we know about Dino 03656?
Not much as the owner is a long time poster here but kept Dino 03656's restoration 100% silent as search reveals. Even when asked FerrariChat questions about his restoration progress the owner refused to respond. Very odd.

Furthermore, that owner sold Dino 03656 within months of Carlo completing restoration and now we see that the new buyer no longer wished to own it.

    Hi Scott,
You're saying because one car had one issue in this shop, this different vehicle might suffer some yet unknown problems because it was there at the same time?
It doesn't seem like any prospective buyer would do anything differently that a regular PPI?

(I took a look at the auction photos and the Dino suspension arms are correctly oriented...actually it looks pretty nice)

From the catalog on this car: In 2018, the stunning restoration was recognized with an FCA Platinum Award at Concorso Italiano in Monterey, and a First in Class at the FCA Northwest Region Concours in Washington.

    But yeah, buyer beware :)
