KLINE VALVETRONIC EXHAUST SYSTEM FOR FERRARI F12 BERLINETTA & F12 TDF

Kline recognizes the Ferrari F12 as the quintessential Grand Tourer, combining a 6.3-liter V12 engine with timeless styling aesthetics. Understanding the immense sonic potential of the naturally aspirated V12 engine, Kline took on the task of unlocking its full potential.

THE SOUND
Kline’s main objective for the F12 was to develop an exceptionally lightweight, valvetronic full exhaust system using Inconel 625. The aim was to create an exhaust system that would deliver a subtle and pleasant auditory experience during cruising speeds, while unleashing a powerful and exhilarating scream when the throttle is fully engaged and the valves are open.

To accomplish this, Kline replaced the stock catalyst with high-flow 100cpsi HJS sports catalysts, significantly amplifying the sound output. Additionally, they designed a precisely engineered laminar flow X-Pipe, featuring perfect geometry, to enrich the tone, raise the pitch, and produce a fuller and more aggressive exhaust note. The incorporation of a valvetronic rear section allows for near-silent operation during cruising, while providing the freedom to unleash the unrestricted Ferrari scream when desired.

STAINLESS STEEL
In the realm of exhaust manufacturing, the industry traditionally relies on the established standard of 304-grade stainless steel. This particular grade offers a well-balanced combination of moderate strength, thermochemical stability, cost-effectiveness, and ease of production. It enables the construction of exhaust systems that strike a practical balance between affordability and functionality, ensuring long-term durability. However, it is important to note that stainless steel is relatively heavier compared to alternative materials. While its density is similar to regular steel, it possesses slightly lower tensile strength. Nice to see you around James! I purchased a lot of GTR parts from you when you were at VR years ago. Just had the Kline 200 Cell sport cats, X Pipe, and Valvetronic section installed on my F12 with a Forza Valve Controller. Sounds epic! Unfortunately even with 200 cell cats I got the check engine light. Quality of the exhaust is excellent from Kline.

Congrats on the F12! It seems like most of the GTR guys jump to Huracan or R8. Glad to see you went a better direction. I remember your screen name from the good old GTRlife days.

For the CEL, Kline has an OBD2 module that clears the cat related codes but allows other codes to come through in case there's a problem. Capristo has a module as well. If you have emissions in your area, it won't allow you to pass that as the car will read not ready, but it can keep the light off your dash.
