Repost but who cares, good to remind people. Though I must be a caffine freak and only go die-cast. Projects like this take too long! Where's the quick fix, oh yeah 1:18!

Our son has been busily engaged in making cars of various sizes and helmets in his spare time when not working or restoring a 924 that will end up looking kin to one of the Gulf Porsches. You have to do a double take on them to be sure they aren't paper ones. His biggest one is a Williams F1. I don't know all the sites he frequents but there's several and he's come up with some great ideas on specific paper that works best. When finished they are clear coated. Awesome!!

Paper F1 models: there are several sites mostly out of Japan for building paper car models. The size ranges for 1:18th scale to 1:24 scale and a few smaller. If you have nothing better todo and it is raining all weekend and you have some elmers glue and most off want to ignore the world, paper models are the way togo. Time consuming, hard to understand directions and frustrating, but better looking than platic..paper moldels are the ticket, did I mention also cheep, the price of paper and a bit of ink.
