    I am sure that there are a lot of current and future F-car owners that are equally anxious about getting their new car in their garage or driveway. Below i am sharing my progress. Enjoy.

    I am waiting for my 488 GTB. Today i got word, it's status 40.

    February 2016 - Placed order
    March 2016 - Atelier visit to Maranello to final spec car
    April 2016 - Allocation
    May 2016 - Status 10w
    June 2016 - Status 10w
    July 2016 - Status 10r
    August 2016 - Status 10r - Factory break
    September 10, 2016 - Status 20
    September 15, 2016 - Status 30
    September 20, 2016 - Status 40
    ....

    I will update the status' when new updates come.

    Factory status codes (as per previous post):
    10 - Orders accepted (Red 10 = No Changes)
    20 - Chassis assembly (at Scaglietti)
    30 - Painting
    40 - Assembly line (dash/wiring/interior/options)
    50 - Assembly line (engine/transmission)
    60 - Finishing
    70 - Testing (road/track)
    85 - Storage
    90 - Water (intransit)
    92 - PDI completed
    93 - Shipping to dealers
    94 - Dealer stock
    94 - Red - retailed
    95 - Submit to factory

    I am at stage 30 with my TDF. Let us know when you get your first picture from the production line. There is usually one at stage 30 just before painting while still in primer.

    Anxiously awaiting my first photo from Ferrari.

    Who is sending you the status numbers? The dealer or Ferrari themselves?

    Mine was status 40 last week. No photo yet....

    But then again a body shell in primer could be anyones car....

    I reckon the car will arrive before the photos at this rate. And i can't wait!

    No photo's here yet either; i read that photo's start coming at stage 50 and then are 2 weeks delayed so any day now.

    So that one DOES look like a different picture - the black blocks underneath the body are opposite situated in my pic v. yours; My color is Rossa Corsa metallic as well :) Can't wait to get my proper, final picture.

    I have the grigio painted optional wheels, with red calipers.

    Today the final pic!!

    BUT - my config is not right; Wrong wheels and last minute Atelier changes did not get incorporated; Communicated with dealer & Atelier folks and they will keep the car to correct it.

    ARGH.

    Glad we caught it in time rather than it being shipped incorrectly.

    for those who just can't stand missing even a single build code, fearing their car has fallen into some F-abyss, "91" is at the port. after 91, things move rapidly

    Actually my car had been sitting in NJ for 3 weeks. One week to do the PDI and waitin. 2 weeks for a truck to ship the car across country.

    As we all know, a couple weeks is a mere blink in the Ferrari time warp. Although, my spider was 90 Friday, 91 earlier today and remarkably 92 by the end of the day and perhaps 93 tomorrow, heading down the eastern seaboard. The West Coast is a different animal altogether, but then again, they would never name a car, "New York" or "Florida", not nearly as musically inspiring as "California." Or maybe it's just a consolation prize for the length of time you have to wait for a car to arrive.

    Lucky you! I assumed as much and the extended wait is killing me to the point I'm about to fly out to New Jersey to pick it up myself..LOL

    Just got my car today. I made it a point not to obsess and track the progress like I used to do with my other past cars ( build status code, name of the vessel, GPS coordinates of the ship, trucking company bring the car, etc...) and it was just as good, minus the wasted energy. The feeling when you first see her is all that matters. But that is just me.

    Please can you tell me if you got the photos directly through My Ferrari or the dealer?
    My 812 was at stage 40 last week but no photos as yet.

    Hello My 812 just turned 10R but i can estimate that my car will probbaly be stage 30-40 by end of september,
    can you help share from stage 40 how long until you received your car

    My Pista is now an 85 (storage). Does anyone know hol long that hold is usually?
