I'm not a big fan of the Veyron but that does look great. How'd they get the blue carbon fiber look...paint with no primer? is this a new "special edition" or just the color scheme?
you are correct sir... http://www.autoblog.com/2009/08/14/bugatti-veyron-grand-sport-sang-bleu-unveiled-in-monterey/
We used to tint the CF back when I owned the FX company. I usually hate big money ostentatious cars but for some reason i really like this.
Not a fan of the wheels. Otherwise, the thing is absolutely jaw-dropping. Love the blue CF, the polished alu wings, quilted seats.... just amazing.
Neither am I. I still wish they would have badged this as a Bentley, since that is what this project actually started off as.
Sorry, those cars just don't "do it" for me. Much to heavy, and I don't think they look all that good. And those wheels. Yuk. To each their own I guess....
I'd rather it completely carbon fiber, but I'll take it the way it is now So how long until we see red-tinted CF on F-cars?
Hopefully never, not a huge fan of mass amounts of bare CF on cars, I do love the normal version though.
It's unbeliavable how many special-editions they're making for the Veyron. Are they really having such a hard time selling it?
Sales were fantastic through most of 2008. Go figure people who have money are holding off a bit... also seems a significant number of 2nd hand Veyrons are available. Also, Most people buying one would prefer to buy new than used, as there are a large number of options that an owner can specify.
I'm sure it is stunning in person, but does nothing for me in pictures. I'm not liking the rims or the blue carbon-fibre. I do adore the Grand Sport though. Chris
