If I remember correctly this car ran through Manheim maybe 10-12 months ago. Gonna be interesting to see what it brings at BJ vs. the "real" auction.
I don't think so although I don't profess to be the end-all when it comes to this car. It is NOT the flooded Texas car...
Kind of an un-interesting one. Nearly 12k miles on a Veyron is "high miles". Sorry, but it is. Colors? Blaahh. Definitely not the nicest Veyron I've ever seen. I'd say it worth 800ish
wow - deal went sour .... buyer said he wasnt in the bid , so Craig bought the bugatti himself for 700 - no one in the crowd even wanted it back so , this thing is worth less than 700 - Ouch is right
Wrong auction for that car. Perfect place for paying way too much for a Yenko or Hemi "recreation". Am I the only person tired of the smug little man in the sunglasses?
I thought 700 was way low but what do I know. Yes, I am tired of the guy in the glasses too ! Anyone see the 2002 yellow/blk Murci go for 75k ? I thought that was low too.
They didn't say the mileage on the Murci. Programme shows it as "speedo cluster changed under warranty". Maybe a good buy, maybe a money pit.
This is a real sign of the economy; prices on all cars are low. shelby gt 500 now under six figures...
Which one? A fake 67 gt500 went for over a 100 (well sold as they would say) A real 69 gt500 went for less than a 100 but I think that's par for the course with 69s.
Granted the title is unaffected, that's a deal for anyone looking to drive it... Image Unavailable, Please Login
It will be interesting to find out what was really going on with the Veyron. According to an article on SpeedTV.com, the goomba with the headband who was bidding on the car (with three cameras pointing at him beaming his face to a live TV audience) was saying "It wasn't me" and then later "I was just helping out". The annoying little guy with the sunglasses is the president of Barrett-Jackson. But, if we observe the majority of the crowd and the seemingly endless line up of people crowding the stage, most of them are wearing sunglasses. As Larry David famously said, "The only people who wear sunglasses indoors are blind people and *******s". BHW
