Its a funky looking car thats for sure.

I wonder what time it did too...

 

Will it be sold in the USA? I hope so. I'm tired of super cars, like the Zonda and MC12, not being sold in the USA because of stupid envoronmental laws.

I don't get the tape as well, everybody saw the car for 10 years time now...

For the emissions laws :

1. Capitalist point of view :
They'll shift at best 80 Zondas, Koenigssegg etc. So who cares if they pollute a bit more than what is legal (knowing that it's still 1000 times less than any "new" kit car registered with a 60s' block).
2. Socialist point of view :
It's not because you have money that you can cross the law.

I think it looks great in the silver/titanium color combo. Metallic paints might do the shape more justice.

 

Some obvious changes from the original would be the small splitter under the front lip meant to keep the car's front wheels on the ground at high speed.
Placement of the front Euro plate is a bit distracting (ok, ugly) and the cable running from under the lip into the famous horseshoe grille is cheesy although likely some sort of sensor for testing purposes.

Use of the tape is interesting since there dont appear to be any apparent styling changes to the bodywork. If there are it's very subtle and on the side
view it appears to look like an Audi TT on steriods.

Tidy at the rear and the venturi tunnels look neat but the wing seems rather
small probably because it tucks away into the bodywork at rest but how functional is it really?

Would love to hear the W16 4 turbos at speed though.

Were the Veyron to be sold in the States is there even a dealer network in place or would they just use existing Audi dealerships?

Is it me or does the Bugatti look like some sort of spacecraft from star wars.

 

It looks great except for that front grill. It looks like a toilet seat.

Thanks for the pics. Definitely looks better than anything Ferrari has recently been making, especially the Enzo and FXX. I hope some of them come to the US.

 

to me, cars have always reminded me of types of people, this one reminds me of a bull dog from the rear, but it looks high up front, like it couldnt really go fast at all, but i like it...

Actually, they throw in an R2 unit with the car to run the electronic systems.
