    Very impressive car.

Too bad about the looks though. It's like finding out Roseanne Barr is good in bed.

At those speeds, all it would take is 1 deer to jump onto the road, and one overreaction would send that car out of control. Imagine getting sideways at 250mph. As soon as the car started to roll, it's all over. The centrifugal forces would spin the car into pieces, along with the driver.

Did he say the tires will only last 50 minutes at top speed?

Wow, thats destructive power right there. But I wonder if thats 50 minutes consecutively(which you cant do with the fuel limit) or just a grand total of 50 minutes at top speed then your tires are toast.

The car uses as much air in one minute and we breath in 4 days. Great tape , I loved it. What a car.

15 minutes, but it doesn't matter since it runs out of fuel in 12 minutes. :)

So you have to run out of fuel, let the tires cool, then you can have another go? I wonder how many top speed runs you can make before the tires blow.

When he said that the tires would only last 15 minutes, I didn't know if he meant for each high speed run on the same set or just 15 minutes on one shot and they need to be replaced. I'd like to know the answer to that as well.

I have 2K on the set on P 4/5. (Not run flats but similar size) 800 miles was high speed testing including banking and track with Rene Arnoux driving and the rears are gone.

To be certified the tires have to last at VMAX for a tank of gas.

    Best

It'll be interesting to see as several people are taking them on the Gumball3000. That screams top speed runs. So we'll see how it holds up.
