Amazing photos. Thank you for taking the time to post them. Loved this car the day it came out and it still looks fantastic. The first pic of the white one looks great.

you're very welcome guys, I can take no credit for any photos, just reporting them here

somehow I like the first prototypes even better than the production versions, they are more sharp and purposeful somehow?!

Here is a photo I shot at Daytona back in 1996. Very fast on the banking, it would even pass the prototypes until it got to the infield. Sounded really nice.

What happened to this car. I have seen the 1994 Lemans car but not this one.

Awesome thread! There has to be a local one in Chicagoland somewhere, but have yet to see one in person!

Very few cars ever entered the USA. Most have spent time in California. Many have also left the US that were once here.

John Weinberger, owner of Continental Autosports in Hinsdale, Illinois had one. Back in 1995 his store was one of ten Lotus dealers in the USA that was given a Bugatti dealership and he had a silver EB 110. Unfortunately the company [Bugatti] went under and no cars were allocated to Continental Autosports. He no longer has the EB 110.

Nobody owned the silver or blue EBs that were at Continental. They both belonged to Bugatti, but were sent to the selected dealers show that potential customers could see them in person. Also, mechanically speaking, both cars were Euro-spec, with the silver one being fitted with the "America" spoiler and body panels. I was lucky enough to drive both, and fell in love with the blue one after blasting it down Lake Shore Drive after the auto show. It felt like a sling shot, no tire spin, not much turbo lag; it just hooked up and took off.

    Hi Mike,

In your opinion. What's your thoughts about Lotus these days?

    ~ Thanks
