Hilary Raab and his DeDobbeleer #3. BC84. It was originally built on a Ventoux Chassis in the '60s. Around 1995 the chassis was replaced with a replica "S" type chassis. A compressor was added about this same time. (Four small photos by Paul Gilpatrick.) Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Nice story about the cars and some info about the picture of the elegant lady w/ the dog and Atlantic can be found here. T57S Bugatti Atlantic Reappears at Pebble Beach Caption for picture reads "Madam Holtzschuch poses with the T57S in its first iteration at the Juan de Pins Concours on Cap d'Antibes in 1937. Credit: Pierre-Yves Laugier Collection." Wow. Driving an Atlantic and enjoying the Cap d'Antibes, not a bad way to spend a holiday! T
Uwe, I don't know for certain. Many things can change in the fifty years since the DeDobbeleer #3 was built. In looking at these two photographs the headlight detail is very different. The DeDobbeleer car also has seams running along the wings behind the headlights. An odd detail which is of course incorrect. All the best, Ron Image Unavailable, Please Login
