Whatever it takes. Seriously, have you watched any of the races this season? Do you find the situation acceptable? I don't.

Well, there are a lot of down right son of ******* would successed in many areas. Perhaps they did so because of luck, politics, or condenable ethics. That doesn't mean these guys deserve respect. Briatore, before being "adopted" by the Benettons, was a scammer. Even today you notice what a detestable person he is from his interviews.

I have a feeling the engine cheat was in the electric side coupled with extra harvesting from the engine. Consequently, there is more powertrain drag with less power output. It's a double whammy. And with better downforce due to last years failings, its them a triple whammy. Screwed is right.

Always the bridesmaid. I agree. If the team continues with lame corporate "security" tactics like choosing tires to finish and preserve points, they will never win a championship. Imagine 2 years ago, despite Seb's choke in the wet at Hockenheim, if the Scuderia had put caution to the wind and said "damn the torpedoes, put on the softs and attack!" Imagine the epic drama of stretching the red stripes to last till the end sure we got burned by some tire failures but we lost anyway! Put on the softs and attack! But alas we have no power and can't now. What a shame. The tifosi would have been over the moon if they caught a P1 so daringly!

When we see this in the press from Ferrari we can have a touch more hope - https://www.autosport.com/f1/news/150797/mercedes-das-not-a-closed-book-despite-2021-f1-ban

Team principal Toto Wolff said after Hamilton's win in Hungary on Sunday that there was "never one thing" that could pinpoint to explain Mercedes' continued success through this period.

"It's a multitude of points that come together," Wolff said.

"It's the investment in the right resource. It's the amount of innovation that we're able to extract from our research and development.

"Fundamentally, it all comes down to the people that are in charge. We have seen over the years that generation after generation have come up, have taken responsibility and accountability and have added to the team's performance.

"It is not only on the engineering side which we talk all the time, but it's in every single area. It's marketing, it's communications, it's social media, it's sponsorship, and this is what makes the team more successful I believe.

"Nevertheless, we mustn't be carried away with thinking that we are the greatest, because then you start quickly losing."
